2 of the 6 PNS Torpedo Boats were destroyed involving the deaths of 35 of the 84 crew on board the 6 ships. This fire spread and hit the ammunition stores which split the ship in half due to the explosion. The PNS Torpedo Boats managed to torpedo the starboard side of the ASS Penultimate which caused a fire below deck. These Patrol Vessels were operated under the command of Admiral Hideki Mamoru ,a known militarist and Japanese Communist who disliked Katsuros' lack of action against The Free Atlantic States. In June 1949, a skirmish takes place between a ASN Destroyer and 6 PNS Torpedo Boats in the Bay of Bengal. The War was considered as a loss for both sides despite The Union gaining a lot of land in the pacific and the Free Atlantic States nearly crippling Japan, The Centre of The UEAS. This combined with a whole decade of tension between the two superpowers.

The War was declared by The Free Atlantic States after an incident involving the sinking of an FAS Navy Destroyer the ASS Penultimate. It took place in two theatres - The Pacific Theatre and The Asian Theatre. The War of The Pacific was a Major War which occurred from 1st January 1950 to the 31st December 1955.
